During the summer of 2021 and my motorbike trips to Wales and South Downs, I reflected a lot on my cultural roots and identity. Upper Silesia - the part of Poland where I grew up, has got its own regional dialect which is very unique and different from the official language spoken in the rest of the country. In the past it was unfairly associated with the lower class but recently became a symbol of regional individuality. There have been many publications promoting the local speech in the last decade.

After a series of successful short comics stories on Instagram featuring Bunny Martin as the teacher of the Silesian dialect, I designed and printed an illustrated hardcover book for children teaching the regional speech in a fun environment. The book is available in Polish only. I am thinking of designing more childrens' books teaching them about foreign languages, numbers and the alphabet in the future.
