In the summer of 2020 Agnes was looking after Martin while Lucy was away for a couple of months. This is when his cartoon character has been created, along with the first sketches. His strong personality, enthusiasm against all odds, curiosity and cheekiness inspired the illustrations and put him at their centre.

It has been decided quite early on that Bunny Martin's character is going to be white, to make him stand out from the background more and allow easy printing of bunny-themed products.

Agnes knew from the beginnign that Martin is a strong and lovable character. She wanted all the world to learn about him and enjoy accessories and gifts with Martin she was planning to design by some point in the future.

Although it took her a couple of years to move from the idea to the actual process of setting up an online store and the production of illustration-inspired gifts, Bunny Martin's friendhip has been keeping the vision alive. We all know that Rome was not built in a day after all. It was built in 1229 years apparently.
